PM Barrow Tests Negative for COVID-19

This afternoon, the Office of the Prime Minister confirmed that PCR results indicate that PM Dean Barrow tested negative for the coronavirus; he was swabbed on Thursday and the results were released today.  The PM’s Chief of Security, Jeff Gabriel tested positive on Thursday and he had been in contact with Barrow since the start of the week. The staff at the Laing Building has also been swabbed for the virus.  A brief release states, “The Office of the Prime Minister informs the public that the Prime Minister Right Honourable Dean Barrow has tested negative for COVID-19.  The Prime Minister, his driver and his staff at the Laing Building were swabbed for COVID-19 after his security tested positive for COVID-19.”
