Remembering Harry…

This afternoon, Operations Manager Dave Pascascio spoke fondly about his colleague who, at the time of his passing, was up for an appraisal.  His dedication and commitment as a foreman for BWS has been formally acknowledged.

Dave Pascascio, Operations Manager, BWS

“It so happens that next January 2021, he would have served us twenty years and he would have been recognized for his years of service.  Sadly, he left us so suddenly.  I was telling my coworkers that trying to take my mind off of him yesterday, I went to my computer and started doing some work because we are doing some appraisals and lo and behold, Harry’s appraisal popped up for me to review.  Harry was currently serving us as a foreman and acted as a supervisor on numerous occasions both outside of Belize City and at other branches, including Belmopan for quite a while.  So he was very humble, very quiet.  He was practically a two-words, three-words answers he would give you and I can only read off that appraisal which I’ve highlighted some stuff because I painfully went through it yesterday and these are the words of his immediate supervisor, Mr. Benson Matthews.  He said, working with Harry is always a pleasure.  He respects his team and nurtures their growth which improves the morale of anyone working with him.  Harry is one of the unit’s best motivators, he coaches his team and tries his best to keep them diligent and fully industrious.”
