Michel Chebat, Minister of Health and Wellness
“I want to say this very clearly. If you are in a service industry as the medical industry is, if you are a doctor, a nurse, a public health inspector, whatever position you hold in any hospital it is your first and paramount duty to treat everybody who comes there with dignity. People don’t come there because they want to be there. They come there because they are ill and the least thing we can do is to treat them with dignity and I have said this to some of the regional managers because from where I come there are a lot of complains about this and these are one of the things that we need to correct forthwith. These are one of the things we need to correct immediately.”
