COVID Death Toll Stands at 102
The death toll related to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to go up with two additional casualties being reported on November nineteenth. Both persons are elderly, a man in his eighties from the village of Santa Cruz, Orange Walk and a woman in her seventies from Duck Run community. The octogenarian had been feeling ill while at home and was experiencing respiratory distress. He passed away at home. The number of persons who have succumbed to COVID-19 stands at one hundred and two. In other related news, there are presently two thousand, one hundred and seventy-three active cases, with sixty more identified from a batch of three hundred and twenty-three samples on Thursday. While the number of infections continues to spike, the Ministry of Health is also reporting sixty-three recoveries.
