Police Department Launches COVID-19 Hotlines

If you’re planning to have a party or a gathering of friends at your residence in the days ahead, perhaps it’s best to think twice about that idea. The Belize Police Department is launching its COVID-19 hotlines.  The general public is asked to call and report anyone hosting a party, other social events, or persons not adhering to other COVID-19 protocols.   The numbers are 0-800-PARTIES or 0-800-727-8432 for both B.T.L. and Smart users.  These numbers will be monitored on a twenty-four hour basis.  The release ends by saying, “As we battle the enormity of COVID-19 pandemic, the public is reminded to adhere to all the protocols put in place to reduce the spread of this deadly virus.”
