PAHO Donates 94,975 Antigen Tests to Belize’s COVID-19 Efforts
The Pan American Health Organization, PAHO, has donated ninety-four thousand, nine hundred and seventy-five antigen tests with antigen controls and rapid diagnostic test analyzers. This is to increase the lab capacity efforts for COVID-19 testing in Belize. A release from PAHO earlier today states, “the importance of timely and accurate testing is crucial to the prevention, control and management of COVID-19. Thus, the use of rapid antigen tests can beneficially contribute to enhancing the overall COVID-19 testing capacity in the country.”
