ComPol Still Not Vaccinated
The first three phases of the COVID vaccination exercise are currently open. Members of law enforcement agencies as well as tourism stakeholders can now get vaccinated. But as of last week, just thirteen percent of police officers had received their first dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. As we found out, ComPol Chester Williams is not among those vaccinated officers. We asked him why.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
“I have not yet been vaccinated. I will be very soon. I have been encouraging officers to do so and I believe that I should give them the preference and whenever my time comes, then I will go and do mine.”

“Will the media be invited, sir?”
Chester Williams
“Of course, I will invite the media to come along.”
