Mother & Daughter Get Much Needed Help!

The family and friends of Lucinda Montejo earlier today made an appeal for blood donation and the good news tonight is that the family has received more than the amount they requested. Montejo and her daughter, Kaylen were travelling on the George Price Highway when the SUV they were travelling in collided with a tourist van. Lucinda and Kaylen received various degrees of injuries and were listed in critical condition after they were rushed to the San Ignacio Community Hospital. They were both in need of blood; Montejo needed O-positive and Kaylen, B-positive. Late this evening, News Five spoke with the family and confirmed that their appeal on social media was successful and that both received more than enough pints of blood. The family asks that the public continues to pray for the full recovery of the mother and daughter.
