Active COVID Cases over 250

COVID-19 cases have been steadily increasing over the last several days. Today alone, twenty-four new cases were confirmed which puts the total active cases over two hundred and fifty. Today, prior to the release of the daily COVID-19 data, Minister Michel Chebat shared his concern over the growing number of cases.

“As of yesterday, June twenty-ninth, 2021, we have recorded two hundred and thirty-four active cases in our country. Yesterday, we recorded thirty-eight new positive COVID cases. We have five hospitalizations and one I.C.U. admission. The Ministry of Health and Wellness is concerned about the rapid increase in positive cases we have been recording since the twenty-first of June. We continue to witness a wanton disregard for the public health measures that have been implemented.”
