Changes in Curfew to take Effect on Monday!
Here’s a heads up to restaurants and other businesses as nightlife activities are once again being restricted due to the increasing COVID-19 cases. Start changing your schedules now since the curfew will be extended once again. Minister of Health and Wellness Michel Chebat broke the news today that effective this Monday, July twenty-sixth, the curfew will now be from nine p.m. to four a.m. The decision has been made because the country is now confirmed to be in its third wave with over three hundred active COVID-19 cases.

“We are taking additional measures. I want to put the whole country on notice that starting on Monday, as a result of the increase in numbers that we are seeing, as a result, that we are not observing the public health measures which are intended to curb the numbers, we are going to be looking at a new timeframe for the curfew. As of Monday, curfew will begin across the country from nine o’clock and it is going to go on to four o’clock in the morning. So that’s an additional measure we are taking into place.”
