Valentino Shal, Recovered COVID-19 Patient
“Actually it was a Friday I started feeling bad and then the following week I went to the doctor to get tested and a day later I went to the doctor and a day later I was informed that I was positive. I had already been fully vaccinated at least two weeks before being tested positive and I think that is part of the reason why I wasn’t affected terribly by the virus. I think the vaccine what it does is that it builds up your immunity and the resilience of you immune system and so the only symptom I experienced was a fever and I had no other flu-like symptoms at all. Because I was fully vaccinated, I didn’t feel any of the anxiety that I thought I would have when I found out that I was COVID positive. The fever had already gone, I was feeling ok and I just ride it out and the doctor said I had to stay put and not go anywhere, so I just had to bear with that quarantine. So, it was a mild experience and there was nothing that concerned me at all. I feel very fortunately because had I not taken the vaccine I feel that the symptoms would have been more severe in this case it came and went away pretty quickly.”
