Minister Chebat: Fear-Mongering Antivaxxers Doing a Disservice to Belizeans

On Saturday afternoon a small group of persons, in support of the antivaxxer group, the Belize Rights and Justice Movement, organized a small protest at the Belize Civic Centre compound.  They were holding placards and sharing information as to why they are against the vaccination exercise. We asked the Minister of Health and Wellness to comment on the anti-vaccine campaign by the group. Here’s what Minister Michel Chebat had to say.

“I’ve said it and I will just say it one more time, these guys have no scientific basis for what they are saying. There is no legal basis for what they are saying; what they are doing is fear mongering and they are doing a disservice to the Belizean public.”
