UNHCR Donates PPEs to Southern Clinics

U.N.H.C.R., the U.N. Refugee Agency, has donated medical and personal protective equipment to the Independence Poly Clinic, San Juan Health Post, the Bella Vista Poly Clinic and community health workers in the Independence area. Supplies include thousands of items for personal protection and devices like vital signs monitors and oximeters. U.N.H.C.R. also assisted the Bella Vista Poly Clinic with a lap-top for health information campaigns and the building of a waiting area, with the assistance of partner, HUMANA People to People. Independence and Bella Vista Poly Clinic and San Juan Health Post cater for the needs of over twenty five thousand people including refugees fleeing violence in other Central American countries.
