BHA Members Marketing Properties for When COVID Subsides
Saldivar says that despite the sluggish season, and also because of it, the Belize Hotel Association is aggressively marketing its members’ hotels and guest houses so that when the current third wave subsides, they can restore some semblance of normalcy.

“The Belize Hotel Association is working closely not only with Caye Caulker but with all the members in our destinations to diligently work on the marketing of Belize and all our members because we know that tourism will come back. The wave will pass. And we’re going to be ready and send out the message that when things calm down again we’re open for business and looking forward to receiving more tourists. It is a challenging time but we’re not slowing down in terms of the marketing of the destination and our members.”
