More Free Testing Sites Opened Countrywide

From Punta Gorda to Corozal, the Ministry of Health has added additional COVID-19 sites for free testing. The new sites are in addition to those recently opened at the Belize City and Belmopan Civic Centers. Here’s a rundown of the locations for our viewers: the Red Cross Building in Punta Gorda, BTL Park in Dangriga, Falcon Field in San Ignacio, the Sports Council in Santa Elena, and Marshallek Cancha in Benque Viejo. In the north, there are new testing sites at the Corozal Civic Center, Chunox Health Center, and San Andreas Community Center. In Orange Walk, testing is now being carried out at the Central Park, Louisiana Government School, Banquitas and the People’s Stadium. According to the Ministry of Health, testing hours are eight-thirty a.m. to two p.m. Monday to Friday. The free tests are for anyone, except those requiring them for travel.
