More Cuban doctors for the districts

Twenty Cuban doctors arrived in Belize this morning, as part of the Government’s manifesto promise to upgrade health services in rural areas. Eight doctors will be posted in the Belize District, five in Corozal, three in Cayo and four will be sent to Orange Walk. The doctors will be in the country for a little more than a year. This is the second set of Cuban doctors to arrive since the Prime Minister Said Musa visited Cuba in February.
