Tropic Air to Fly to El Salvador
Another indication that tourism is rebounding after taking a hit during the pandemic. Tropic Air announced its new nonstop service between El Salvador International Airport and the Philip Goldson International Airport. These flights are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays initially, beginning on February eleventh. Tropic Air is offering a special introductory fare of ninety-nine U.S. dollars plus tax each way for the month of February. Passengers will be taking the one hour flight in one of their twin engine Beechcraft nineteen seat airliners designed primarily for regional routes. Steven Schulte, C.E.O. of Tropic Air, said in the new service, “We see San Salvador as a major destination with a lot of potential. Regional air connectivity is a priority for Tropic. We believe this route will grow quickly into a daily service. It provides business interests and families fast, convenient air service. It opens another gateway for South American tourists to reach Belize. Routes such as this are essential to Belize’s growth”.
