San Ignacio Hospital Becomes “Smart” Health Facility

We also spoke to Minister Bernard today about the handover and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the San Ignacio Community Hospital becoming a Smart Health Facility. Here is what he had to say about those developments at the health facility.

“This was a project started back in 2018 and finally got on board in 2020 with the design and making the San Ignacio Community Hospital a smart hospital. It is a major investment that has been made, wonderful developments to the facility. When I took the tour there today I only can hope and pray that a place like the Northern Region Hospital can benefit from as well. And, not only the Northern Region, but all our health facilities. So, I want to thank P.A.H.O. and W.H.O. and the U.K. for the support that they have done along with the ministry to get these retrofitting done for these facilities.”
