Belize Ready to Welcome the Royals in March

And, when the CARICOM and S.I.C.A. meetings are over, the international spotlight will remain on Belize with the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Those dates were just confirmed by the Belize government to be March nineteenth to twenty-second.  The visit to Belize is the first stop on their Caribbean tour, happening as part of Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.  During their stay in Belize, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will have an opportunity to see Belize’s pioneering work in coral reef restoration and visit the southern part of the country, where they will visit with Maya and Garifuna communities.  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration is coordinating the visit. The royals will also be going to Jamaica and the Bahamas on their tour.
