CARICOM Leaders Arrive in Belize
The big excitement today was the arrival of CARICOM leaders to the island of San Pedro for a two-day CARICOM Heads of Government Inter-sessional meeting which begins on Tuesday. A Channel Five team is posted on Ambergris Caye this week to bring you the day-to-day coverage. We now go to News Five’s Paul Lopez for a report on this monumental event for Belize.
Earlier today, the Secretary General of CARICOM, Doctor Carla Barnett held a press conference. We will have some highlights of that later in the newscast.
