Foreign Minister of Suriname Says “Less Talk, More Action”
Foreign Minister Ramdin also told News Five that there is a need for action within the Caribbean community and less talk. Ramdin says that he expects these meetings to be historic with concrete and decisive ways forward, because of the caliber of leaders that are engaged in the discussions on these important issues.

“The key thing at this meeting which I sense and which I suspect will continue tomorrow is that we want to be as concrete as possible. The time to talk is over. We need to really start getting in to doing business in a much more aggressive manner, in a positive way of course, by looking at opportunities towards the future. There are several opportunities to work that a couple of impediment, difficulties, transport, by sea, by air, but also in terms of the internet, we have to solve those problems. So, I can tell you that these meetings are going to be historic in the sense that leaders, the different teams of leaders, they come together after almost two and a half years. But, these group of leaders have different approach in terms of being very business oriented, results oriented, and I think that can only result in the benefit of the region, but also our standing in world.”
