Addressing Other Health Issues

With an ease from working around the clock in its response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Health will be turning its efforts to other health issues, such as mental health.

“At the ministry, COVID had taken the forefront of many of the issues, but we are also aggressively now engaged in many other areas. Mental Health is a critical issue that we want to target. Nutrition is another area that we are focusing on, but we cannot lose sight that COVID is still around.  It is not going to go anywhere right now and it all depends on how we do it. How we— how me and you and others— protect ourselves from the spread of this virus.”
