The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Arrived in Jamaica
As we reported earlier, Prince William and his wife Katherine are in Jamaica tonight. They arrived on the island around two p.m. The Duke and Duchess were greeted by Jamaican government officials on the tarmac, where a brief ceremony was held. The royal couple then paid a visit to the Queen’s Representative in Jamaica, Governor General Sir Patrick Allen and his wife Lady Allen. During their visit, the Duke and Duchess are facing opposition from Jamaican protestors who wants an apology from the royal family for slavery. We will continue to follow.
