Climate Change Takes Center Stage at CBU AGM
A team from News Five, including C.E.O. Marleni Cuellar, Production Manager Rick Romero and reporter Duane Moody, is Antigua for the fifty-fourth annual general meeting of the Caribbean Broadcasting Union. They are joined by media professionals from across the region, as they look at issues affecting the Caribbean and chart the way forward for the media as a critical partner in not only holding governments accountable, but also to amplify the voice of the region. On the margins of the AGM, the Caribbean Community Climate Change Center hosted a sensitization workshop on climate change and its impacts on the region. It focused on telling stories that can help to shape policy. News Five’s Duane Moody reports on the success of the training.
