Construction worker convicted of Drug Trafficking

Story PictureIn the courts today, a thirty-four year old construction worker was ordered to pay up thousands of dollars because he was caught in possession of something other than his tools; that is over a pound of marijuana. At about nine-fifteen this morning police were alerted to a high-speed chase between two men on motorcycles. The cops waited at the corner of Central America Boulevard and Vernon Street to stop the men in their tracks. One of the cyclists managed to get away, but Luis McKoy was caught after he ran a traffic light and collided with a vehicle. A black plastic bag containing the drugs fell from him and McKoy ran off in the direction of Mayflower Street with police in hot pursuit. He was detained and charged for the weed, which weighed in at just over a pound. McKoy was arraigned for Drug Trafficking, to which he pleaded guilty and as a first-time offender he was fined ten thousand dollars to be paid by March first 2010.

was he caught inside the construction site? geez, where are his proper work etiquette? they should attend seminars on rules and regulation for construction industries.
