Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is What’s Happening Belize?

If you wanna take a road trip this weekend then you can head down south to the Pelican Beach resort where they will be having moonlight madness. They will be having all sorts a great activities including coconut bowling competition, limbo and great music from Hawaii. There will also be food and drinks specials.

This Saturday night you can head over to the House of Culture for the free Full Moon Concert series. This show entitled “Powerful Mind”. This concert will feature Carlos Perrote and friends. There will be food and drinks as well as CDs on sale. The show will run from 7pm until 10pm. Remember the concert is free and will be held at the House of culture on Saturday night.

All you alumnae of SJCJC still have the opportunity to help support the school by getting in on the Raffle to be drawn on the 12th of February. This raffle is being held in order to help the administration enable and uphold the standards of excellence in its service to students. Prizes include cell phones, trips to San Pedro and trips to the US.

Coming in a few weeks you can look out for the “Devilish” play being performed at the Bliss on the 6th and 7th of February. This stimulating and provocative play is for adults only. Tickets are only $10. So all you adults can make it a date night.

And for those of you with kids in high school you can look out for the math Olympiad starting next week Wednesday at Sacred Heart Parish Hall in Dangriga. There will be one hundred and fifty students competing from thirty-nine high schools all over the country. So even if your child isn’t in the competition you can still go out and support their school.
