There is more bad news to report tonight, this time from the north. On January nineteenth fifty-seven year old Edward Robinson suffered severe scalds to ninety percent of his body when a fault at a transformer at the Belize Sugar Industries compound caused a boiler to rupture. Robinson, who was the evaporator attendant, was standing on the second floor at the factory and was showered with hot water from a condensing pot on the lower flat. He was receiving treatment first at the Belize Healthcare Partners in Belize City but was transferred to Guatemala where he succumbed.
