CYDP supervisor allegedly broke into Universal Hardware

Anthony Morris Jr.
The facilitators of the Conscious Youth Development Program are tasked with keeping at risk youths on the straight and narrow. But it has turned out the other way in the case of thirty-two year old Anthony Morris Junior, who holds a supervisory position at CYDP. Morris has reportedly been found in possession of stolen items valuing over four thousand dollars. He was arraigned for Handling Stolen Goods on Monday; he appeared without an attorney and pleaded not guilty. His next court date was set for March eighteenth. The goods for which Morris is being charged, were allegedly stolen from Universal Hardware on New Road, which is owned by twenty-seven year old Corney Dueck. Dueck reported that his business was burglarized and a variety of tools, a Remington brand pellet gun, three packs of pellets and cash all totaling four thousand three hundred and eighty-eight dollars were stolen. When police investigations led them to Morris, he was found with almost all the items, with the exception of the pellet gun and pellets, which have not yet been recovered.

Wow, what a revelation: …when the youth leaders/supervisors themselves are criminals….the city overflows with crime.
