5 year old sexually abused three times; one charged

In one of the more disturbing matters before the court today, thirty-three year old Enrique Pandy of Ladyville was charged with Aggravated Assault of an Indecent Nature. What makes the offence even more sickening is that the victim is a five year girl. All details of the matter were not revealed in court because it is of a sensitive nature, but the child has reported to police that Pandy fondled her on June first, 2009. No plea was taken nor was bail offered because the Director of Public Prosecutions gave directives to have the case heard on indictment. But the child’s story only gets more tragic because in the report made by one of her relatives to the Family Violence Unit, it was brought to light that after the incident with Pandy, the child was sexually abused on two other occasions by different men. That information was corroborated by a doctor who certified that the child was carnally known. The Social Services Department is now involved in the investigation and police are looking for the other two men. It has not yet been ascertained whether or not the child is still in her mother’s care. Meanwhile, Pandy will be brought back to court on February fifteenth.
Sick bastards, molesting a 5 year old. I have a daughter in that age group, and I can’t even start to imagine what would happen to these bastard if that was my child, where is the father of these kid?

I don’t know what satisfaction these men get from fondling a 5 years old. They need to be put under the jail, not in jail. I’ll tell you one thing, if that was my daughter, no police or jail could keep them away from me. It would be hell for them to pay. It makes me wonder what type of morals they grew up with; none it seems. “PUT THEM UNDER THE JAIL HOUSE AND COVER THEM WITH DIRT”.

I totally agree that these men are sick and should be hanged or castrated. To sexually abuse any minor is a crime that should not go severely unpunished. I would not even take him to trial, just take him somewhere in the jungle and torture him until he dies. If that would have been my child, the culprit would be long dead and buried.
I dont even want to think how messed up -emotionally and psychologically- that child is right now and how she’s gonna be later on. “People” such as these shouldnt even get the opportunity of a trial…throw them straight into prison and throw away the key, as how some would say. And whether it sounds extreme or not to some, the fact is that they violated and scarred this innocent little girl for the rest of her life! There is no punishment enough to rectify that…
It is a known fact that 1 out of every 3 girl children are moslested in some way by someone by the age of 5 years, 1 out every 5 boy children are moslested in some way by someone by the age of 5. It takes a lot of parental care and attention to make sure this does not happen to a child. It’s a known fact that some parents (mothers) look the other way even though they know this is happening. It has nothing to do with education, inteligence or what level of (money) society a person comes from. Yes bury them under the jail but it needs to be done no matter what level of society the person comes from, bury the person that sat back and let this happen. Trafficing in human baby flesh for the very young is also very common. It is a world wide problem. Educate your mothers before it happens.

My heart is breaking when I think of what this child must have endured. Why did it take so long for somebody to realise something was wrong with this little girl. Parents, speak to your kids about sexual abuse and check your kids’ body closley for signs of abuse. May God give this child the strength to overcome this unforgivable crime against her. There are too many grown women in Belize for men to be lusting after children.
When will justice start to prevail in cases like these? I hate to think that there will be justice till it happens to a child of high profile family. Where is our justice system??? Government please help!!!!!

this is a sick man but i want to know what kind of mother lets something like this occur not once but 3 times. is she working a 24hr shift not to see or notice what going on with her child. i’m a teacher and i have seen children that have been abuse like this. unfortunately they must have been signs but her busy mother didn’t see it. i’m just glad the child had enough courage to say something.

I have a 4 year old and a 3 year old, they are innocent at it’s best on that age range, how dare these animals because they are not people find satisfaction in harming innocent children. God sees everything, he is the ultimum judge but I so wish the law would be more strict with these offenders. Ready Freddy, i totally disagree with you. There is no way any parent can keep an eye on their Child 24/7. In addition, these abusers, are close friends and (or) family members: people who are familiar with these kids. I was once a victim of abuse. I suffered emotionally. It affected my growing and development for sometime. However, with time and talking about it i have gotten over it. I am now a successful, independent and assertive woman wid a lotta confidence. I now have a child of my own, and i swear if i were to find out that one of those b……. placed a finger on her…. hmmm best believe there would be hell to pay. Jail?!?!? dats not an option. CASTRATE dem F…… Capital punishment!!!!!!!!! These damn HUMAN RIGHTS laws. Damn it they gave up their rights by breaking the law and inflicting pain on poor innocent souls. DEAN needs to do his damn job… maybe wen it strikes close to his home something will be done.

Someone needs to revise the law. Men who commit these are even worse tha n murderers. The trauma that that child will endure for life is unimaginable. They should be castrated and sentenced to life in prison. Please revisit the laws, too many people are getting away!!!!!
I was molested when i was 8 and i know what goes through a mind of a child when a person that they TRUST is doing this to them! Wow out of all women in this world why would you want a child? I was sexually abused 3 times when i was 4 years old by two different people. I am now 15 years old and the effects of what happened are only starting now,i have insomnia, i self-harm, anxiety , relationship problems…the list goes on and on. In my opinion men like this should be humiliated in front of thousands of people, they shuldnt be covered either, there faces, names and details should be everywhere. I never told my parents what happened to me…biggest regret
