Shyne signs multimillion dollar recording contract

Moses "Shyne" Leviy

Moses "Shyne" Leviy

Shyne Po, or Moses Michael Leviy, the rapper and son of Prime Minister Dean Barrow has been busy since his return to Belize.  Deportation has not kept him back, and reports in the hip-hop community say that the rapper has signed a seven figure deal with Def Jam Recording.  His uncle, Housing Minister Michael Finnegan confirmed the online reports. Though the exact sum has not been revealed, no matter if you count in U.S. or Belize dollars, the country’s most famous deportee is making millions of dollars.  Industry giants such as Doctor Dre and Jimmy Lovine have been part of the bidding war for the man who is considered one of the few remaining gangster rappers. According to Missinfo.tv, Shyne has been collaborating with  Kyambo “Hip-hop” Joshua, a veteran manager of a company called HipHopSince1978.  In addition to Shyne, the company also manages artists such as Drake, Young Jeezy, and  Lil Wayne, who is considered one of hip-hops largest money makers.  Recently a recording was leaked online, with Shyne rhyming on a track for an upcoming DJ Khaled album, which is alleged to have been taken off the final cut.  Shyne was denied entry to London, where he intends to develop his craft, but those plans are on hold because his immigration documents were not in order.

I’m proud of a Belizean getting to that level,it does’nt matter who and what you are,in life thier’s always a second chance for a person to become a person of her/hinself,so don’t be hated by his success please.

  4. Mary Fuller says:

In Belize every one who commits murder walks free. No law no justice. If you are not a Belizean the stupid custom officers smile and let you walk through. If you are a Belizean they try to charge you for a book you are reading. shame ,shame they have no training. Visited someone who works with the Government thinks he have such a big office with Ministry of Education cannot even find the office the grasses are so so high the buildings are old and breaking up. Whats wrong with the GOVERNMENT.

  9. reuben says:

Marion Jones did more for belize than shyne, if he was not deported we woulden’t hear jack shit from or about him. Start investing some of your millions home, boy, or you are waiting for another chance for another country of the U.S. TO TAKE YOU BACK to run from belize.

  10. Maud from Chicago says:

All deserves another chance, Life have a way of teaching us if we are willing to learn.. God is a God of many chances, where sin abounds, His Grace abounds even more, He did not come into the world to condem us… His love never fails us……

  11. MR. HUMBLE says:

I applaud MR Leviy for being so strong after the adversities he faced for making a huge mistake in life.He is building his character by doing the right things because he could have easily choose to do bad which is the easiest for most humans. So please my people lets start forgiving each other and not turn to destroying each other. We all make mistakes in life and we all are a sorry people.Look in the mirror.
So to the next person that is planning a murder please think of the many people that you love and ask yourself would I want someone to take away my love ones life?Think of how your love ones would feel if they loose you to a bullet .
So my fellow Belizeans lets start forgiving each other and not think that it is our right to settle our
grieviances with a gun.GOD LOVES US ALL and he is a forgiving GOD.

Second chances- u got to be kidding- go tell da to the young men and women in the prison. Do they get a second chance, Hell no- You make u bed hard yu sleep on it. I am tried of hearing about shyne. Please in Belize we have bigger things to work on, like what will we eat today!!! Ok yeah the guy is trying to do something, ok good for him. But don’t go about talking about second chances, cause only BELIZE gives 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th …. chances. Finally DADDY can’t control LONDON and USA. And i hope u doesn’t get his travelling documents fixed, He is a DEPORTEE and should be treated as one. Check in and check out. If Belizean and do so can Moises or whatever names he goes by now. Jail Bird would be good though.
