SUV demolished in highway accident
An accident occurred on the Northern Highway about six o’clock Sunday morning. A black Sport Utility Vehicle crashed into the rear end of a container which was parked off the highway. It happened across from the Biltmore Plaza. The airbag was deployed and it saved the life of the twenty year old Leroy Moreira, the driver of the SUV. Not only did bystanders assist Moriera from the vehicle, the accident victim claims that they robbed him and stole from his wrecked vehicle. According to family members, his Motorola phone and laptop were taken while he was being removed from the vehicle.
i believe that they charged thier service for helping the guy, damn it’s really stupid things that happen in Belize now.

Hey as bad as Belize is. Looking at that vehicle that guy should be most thankful and grateful to be alive and stop worrying about a cell phone and a laptop that can be replace. Thats material stuff that can be replace. That lost is nothing compare to his life and how his family would have felt if he had died. He should be thankful for the assistance.
Why did he drive into the back of a parked trailer? and why hasn’t he been charged? Cunumunu’s are a dime a dozen.
Aren’t we all missing the boat on this – the culpable party is the one who parked the container on the road? How many Belizeans have died from this practice in the past? The laws regarding this need to re revisited and revised and new provisions be put in place to charge people with vehicular homicide or manslaughter when people die from accidents involving vehicles and containers parked on the side of our roads. This country is descending deeper into anarchy…
