Share your love story to win Channel Five’s dream wedding
Have you found that special someone that you want to share the rest of your life with and have a unique story to tell about how you met or popped the big question? Well listen closely because Channel Five is giving you the chance to score the wedding of your dreams with our newest reality venture “From Yes to I Do”. If your story tops the others, we’ll capture everything from the proposal to the altar and better yet, we’ll throw in the goodies. Co-producer Sharmane Garcia has the inside scoop on how to get your chance at winning a free wedding.

“When we heard about the wedding expo at the Biltmore Plaza, we decide to be a part of it and to go a step further. We decided we wanted to follow a bride and a groom to be. What we’re doing—we’ve decided to call it From Yes to I Do, Channel Five will follow you because we want to get the story from the beginning to end—as much as up to the wedding day. We’re going to select a bride and a groom and what Channel Five will do, along with other businesses from around Belize, we’re going to be doing a complete package.

We’re going to be giving them the tux, the wedding gown, the venue, the wedding cake, the champagne and a honeymoon for the lucky couple. All you have to do is come on in or visit the website at www.channel5belize.com and fill out the questionnaire and give us a good story about how you met. We’re looking for that special story, something outstanding whether it was the proposal that was outstanding or how you met. That’s all you have to do. Our deadline for submission is the twenty-ninth and then we will be selecting our couple.”

“That’s a great idea. It helps the person that wins and it will save them a lot because weddings in Belize are extremely expensive. The average, that I had budgeted would run like ten, fifteen thousand dollars Belize so if this is something that Channel Five decides to do then it’s great. It’s a good idea and I just hope that probably we would be the lucky winners so yeah.”
The wedding will be broadcast live on Channel Five but before the big day, we will be following some of the highlights as the couple heads to the altar.

Hey.. i just want to know if we have to take tha application form personally or can we email it… and apart from the application form, we still ahev to write a story about how we met? We are really interested in that because we want to get married.
You can send the application by email or bring it in to Channel 5. You can attach your love story to the application form if you so wish.
What is good versus a great versus a unique love story?
Every love story is a unique love story, but that is hardly the point here.
Good to see that even in times like this in Belize there are still people out there trying to put a little joy into someone’s heart.
I have a question. My partner and I got married through the court and it was just a hurry thing so I didn’t get to experience walking down the isle and now I don’t have any lovely pics or romantic details to share with my son (8 months old). My husband promised that we would remarry through the church before our fifth anniversary but we will complete our fifth anniversary in May of this year and we haven’t been able to renew our vows because of financial difficulties. It would be a dream come through to walk down the isle and renew our vows as it was supposed to be the first time.

To say the least; love is eternal just the way God’s love is forever. To seek God’s blessing in a union is the greatest step. Elisa and Rollington have displayed that love and affection all this time and they have been blessed with wonderful kids. They now want to seal their love with marriage.
