Man charged for inappropriately touching ex-common-law wife

A man faced an embarrassing period before the court because his ex-common law wife has accused him of touching her inappropriately.  Thirty-two year old Preston Reynolds is charged with Aggravated Assault of an Indecent Nature and Common Assault upon the twenty seven year old woman.  The allegation was made since January twelfth but Reynolds was just recently charged.  He appeared before Magistrate Kathleen Lewis where he was offered and met bail of two thousand dollars.  Magistrate Lewis, however, set conditions that he is to stay away from the complainant. Before leaving the court, Reynolds told Magistrate Lewis that the alleged victim is still his common-law-wife and he claims they are still living together and that she had already visited the police station to withdraw the charges.  The case is set to begin on April twenty-second if the woman does not withdraw the charges.
