Two brothers and a wife charged for attempted murder

A trio including two men and a woman appeared before Magistrate Albert Hoare today to answer charges of attempted murder. They are twenty-four year-old Sheryl Arnold, a domestic of West Lake Community located at mile eight on the Western Highway, her twenty-two year old common-law-husband Eric Garbutt, a boat captain of the same address and his younger brother, nineteen year-old Patrick Garbutt Jr.
On March eight of this year Celso Funez reported to police that at about nine-thirty p.m. he was at home with his wife and three children when he heard someone calling him from outside. Upon checking, Funez saw a red Toyota Camry parked in front of his house. He went to see who was inside and noticed a man known to him as Patrick Garbutt who was in the company of his brother, Eric and his girlfriend Sheryl Arnold. According to Funez he had previously been involved in an argument with Patrick Garbutt Jr. Garbutt’s brother allegedly pulled out a firearm and fired two shots at him. He ran and managed to escape injury. His attackers then got back into the vehicle and drove off.
This morning the trio was arraigned for one count each of attempted murder and one count of aggravated assault upon Celso Funez. The siblings along with Arnold were remanded to the Hattieville until May tenth.
I hope these three idiots get the maximum punishment while in prison for such a foolish act.
