Telemedia cuts three senior employees lose
Three senior members of staff at Belize Telemedia are jobless tonight. Arturo ‘Tux’ Vasquez and Dean Molina received their marching orders indicating that their services were no longer required. A third person, Reynaldo Magana, had given a verbal indication that he would be moving on and today he was also released. Molina and Vasquez, in particular, were considered close to the previous management of the telephone company. When the government nationalized B.T.L., it gave assurances that members of staff would not be fired, it seems there is now a change of heart and the government has gone back on its word once again.
I hope each year SPEARS or any other organization publish a report of the progress of GOB on the annual basis…
In addition, there should also be a section that records all the injustice and nepotism that occurs during an annual basis of the government in power so that it can be used as a report card during elections….

Where are the UNIONS? National trade union congress of Belize ? they are there to represent the workers no? or they are afraid of Mr.DEAN .O.Barrow ?its sad but thats the way the UDP gov’t from all ministries work,we can’t forget when they UDP\ under Mr.Manuel Esquivel gov’t fired more than 1,000 worker before x-mas in their term of gov’t so what can we expect from them -they are arrogant,vindictive,heartless, and its worst under mr.dean barrow ,how many belizeans have been fired under this UDP? every time they come to power thats all they do in their 5 years term only fire people,victimise,quitar terenos,and fill in their pockets, but like the UDP SONG SAYS “UDP WI ME FI ALL A WE”…….LOL. More people will get fired its 2 + more years for them to get out.
BTL ciontinues an establish pattern since the 1990`s of releasing some of its staff around this time under the guise of redunancy .This pettern began shortly after Kanen Bevans came on board.It is done in such a way that the union remains quiet.

that’s why you don’t take sides EVER! It will only come back and bite you in the …well you know. Better to stand alone on good grounds than be fired for unwanted loyalty. Hopefully a lesson learnt to all belizeans …stay away from politics!
As usual, never believe this crooked bunch, they are liars and theives. They have caused so much trouble for Belizeans everywhere that it is very anoying. Belizeans are tired of this foolishness and that is why many Belizeans are constantly moving and not returning to Belize, because no matter who you vote in, it is always corruption to the core. It has become disgusting.
