Renan Reneau murdered on Supal Street

The bloodbath in the old capital continued on Thursday night when a second shooting incident claimed the life of yet another Belize City resident who was socializing with his girlfriend on Supal Street. This incident occurred prior to the shooting death of Ervin James and was a stone’s throw away from Ross Pen Road. Police Press Officer Fitzroy Yearwood gave News Five more details.

“A little after ten, somewhere around ten-fifty three last night police responded to a shooting incident at the corner of Supal and Kut Avenue where they saw Renan Reneau suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest. He was transported to the K.H.M.H. where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Initial investigations revealed that Reneau was in a yard having a conversation with his girlfriend when a lone gunman rode up and injured him; shot him actually.”

Police have not yet ascertained a motive for the murder of Renan Reneau and his killer remains at large.  Meanwhile an investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
