He has been tutoring children of all ages for six years, but today thirty four year old Andrew Lord, a resident of Elston Kerr Street, was charged with a single count of aggravated assault of an indent nature after a report that he assaulted a ten year-old student. Lord is accused of assaulting the child last Thursday while the student was at her babysitter and he was present. According to the child, she was ashamed and afraid to tell her mother so she wrote about her ordeal in a letter stating how Lord caressed her on her legs, thigh and back. That letter is in the hands of the police and based on the report made, Lord was detained on Friday, April ninth. He pleaded not guilty and was offered bail in the sum of three thousand dollars under the condition that he stays away from the victim. Outside the courtroom, Lord had a number of supporters who believe he is innocent of the crime. His sister told News Five the charges were made because the child’s mother once tried to have a relationship with him and he refused.
Another innocent child screams for help because a teacher/tutor lay his hands on her in an indecent way, then a bunch of ignorant supporters ignored the child’s cry for help and instead blames the mother for this.
There are so many kids in Belize, and many without a childhood. When a child molester has supporters it is no doubt rape in Belize goes without any justice.
This man should be banned from being around kids in general, he is a high risk.
stop defending those in crime, not because it your friend, family you will defend them, think that they could be doing it your daughter or son.
I admire all those children that in some way or the other are brave enough defend themselves from child molesters….
If he is a teacher, the ministry, principal should launch an investigation immediately
AS A MOTHER OF ONE DAUGHTER I DONT THINK THE CHILD WOULD TELL SUCH LIE. SO I WOULD LIKE FOR PEOPLE LIKE HIM BE PUT AWAY OR DEALT WITH AS HARSH AS POSSIBLE. BECAUSE HE WILL DO IT AGAIN TO ANOTHER CHILD ….DATS A FACT. I WOULD HAVE DEALTH WITH HIM ON MY OWN ANYWAY…NOTHING GETS BETWEEN THE LOVE OF A MOTHER FOR HER CHILD.

i don’t defend the child molester at all but some times like i’ve seen is that the kids them indulge themselves with adults willingly in things like these, and when things are getting out of hand they scream for help while the adult later looks like he has the fault 100%. i say this cause my neighbors are always on that way. they reach even court and later life for them goeson like normal and later again. But if his guilty of it let him face hard time in jail with no bail or chances of parol. big fat guy fondling a litlle kid of ten that’s insane.
Only a mentally insane man would take advantage of a child in this manner, was the mother of the child too much woman for him, what does he have against women?
Children who behave in a promiscuous way are more than likely to have been abused at a very young age, or grew up without father figure in her life; she desperately seeks love and attention from what she sees as a father figure.
Don’t blame the child, blame and punish the adults that should have known better.
I am sick and tired of those sick men harming the Belizean kids and no one seems to give a darn, except to blame the victim for being raped.
I am glad his picture is posted. I will show it to all my friends that have kids and even those that don’t. Every time anyone sees this guy or any other sex offender makes sure everyone around you knows who he is.

They Laws in Belize needs to be amended.
SHAME ON THE SUPPORTERS! They are usually the family or close friends of the offender, especially our Elders of Belize who loves to sweep sexual abuse of minors under the rug. these elders are quick to judge and blame the victim. Perhaps it’s due to ignorance or just a cover-up
to aviod embarassment . Belizean Pride must be uneducated or stupid for saying the child indulge his/her self with an adult. The adult should be mature enough to stop and realize it is a child who don’t have the mental capability as an adult has. There are times OUR ELDERS stay in marriages eventhough they know that their husbands molested a minor family; that just makes them an acessory to the crime. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! SHAME ON YOU!!!
