Relatives question whether or not she jumped

Doctors say they will conduct a CAT scan to see if the swelling on her brain has subsided any.  But while the family wait and hope for good news and a full recovery for Luisa, they also question whether she actually jumped out of the bus or, in the commotion, someone pushed her out.

“There was a bunch of guys fighting them because there were two so one group was at the back by the back door and another group was at the front by the driver, so I don’t know if with the commotion and movement that the people was doing in the back, I don’t know if the robber wanted to escape from the back and I don’t know if she was pushed out from—someone pushed her out of the bus.”

“You don’t believe that she jumped?”

“I can’t tell you that. Some people say maybe she got frightened and decided to jump because she lives here in Succotz so she might say I am in Succotz already so I can jump. There are two possibilities. People that were inside the bus they came and told us that two people were fighting against the other robber and somehow they knocked her out of the bus so we cannot figure it out.”

“Okay, you said that she has been several questions. Has she been asked that question in particular?”

Esvin Carrillo

“No the doctors recommend that that question or what happened to her we should not ask her.”

Marion Ali

“Okay but does she remember what happened?”

Esvin Carrillo

“No, she does not remember what happened.”

A check with San Ignacio Police late this evening yielded nothing in terms of a lead of the escaped robber who carried the hand grenade.  Authorities also believe the man, believed to be a Guatemalan, has absconded Belizean borders.
