Police looking for SUV used during murder of Kashif Jeffries

Kashif Jeffries
While the family of slain car dealer Kashif Jeffries makes arrangements to lay him to rest, Belize City police are still looking for his killers. Jeffries was callously gunned down while in his vehicle on Levi Slusher Street on Sunday afternoon just hours before his flight to Houston, Texas. His trip to the United States was to purchase vehicles that would have been sold on the used car market. He was conversing with two female relatives when two gunmen alighted a green Ford Explorer and opened fire hitting him multiple times to the body. Kashif Jeffries is the son of media personalities Esme Anderson and Trevor Jeffries. Police say they are following all leads, but no arrests have not been made in the city’s latest homicide.

it makes one laugh that the Police Department cannot locate a simple Green Ford Explorer SUV…Belize is a very small country and the vehicle cannot simply disappear…If it was my family, I would personally drive throughout Belize City to locate the said vehicle….there are not many people that have covered garaged where this vehicle can be hidden….Come on Belizeans, if you know someone from your neighborhood have a similar vehicle, please report it so that Police can go and check…
He was a great friend and his memories will live on. I hope and pray that justice will prevail. Together as One we can stop the Violence!
ITS SAD ONCE AGAIN ! NO WORDS ……MY SYMATHY TO THE FAMILY .”
This is sad for the mother, but rest in peace mom, God is watching, vengeance is his!!! Leave it to him, cause in this world there is no justice.
Everyone is running from the problem in Belize fighting for the country is a far cry, the leaders are weak, it’s destroying the economy and Chamber of Commerce have not moved an inch!! We need more than prayers we need action, we need to call out the leaders and make them accountable for what’s wrong, Belizeans are living under house arrest or voluntary curfew!!
……I have total confidence in Crispin Jeffries! That is all that Barrow can say, he is the emperor with new clothes.
So surreal :'( R.I.P. big bro
I was fortunate to meet Kashif back in 2005 on a vacation to Belize. From the little time I was around him I knew he had a good heart and was a good person. I send my deepest condolences to his family, whom are also very kind hearted people.
Here in the states there is a “rule” in the hood that people keep their mouth shut and not help the police with information. I hope this is not the same for Belizeans. Like ‘Better Belize’ said above…Belize is a small country and somebody has to have seen that Green SUV. The community has to work together and not be afraid to speak out or come forward with information.
I will continue to pray for Kashif’s family and pray that the people involved in this horrible crime be brought to justice so they can not take another person’s life.
I was also fortunate to have meet Kashif. I went home to Belize in Feb. 2009 and I met Kashif through my brother and I must say he was a kind hearted and loving person. He and I have became such good friends that when ever he goes to Texas he will call me every single day until he gets back to the border then he will say ” Ah de dah di Mexican border now so uh no wah hear fah mi noh moh, but ah hope fi seh uh da Belize soon”
I will never forget him. R.I.P. bro luv ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I do agree that someone must come forward and say something because justice must be serve, its another innocent life taken for nothing. The violence must come to an end..
