Belizean allegedly killed a family in neighbouring Mexico
Notisureste, a Quintano Roo newspaper is reporting that a Belizean national Pervis Perez Mendez killed an entire family, including a two year old boy, in the community of Othon P Blanco in neighbouring Chetumal. According to the report, Perez shot Gabriela Sansores Canche, the sister of his ex-common-law-wife, her father and her two year old son. After the horrible tragedy, Perez reportedly took his own life with the same shotgun. It is reported that his ex, Valentina Sansores Canche left Pervis for another man and had gone to live in Playa del Carmen. An enraged Pervis, threatened revenge and when he heard she was back at Othon P Blanco, he purchased a shotgun, headed to the house of his ex and killed the family. Three other family members at the house during the shooting fled the scene and lived to say what happened. The recent incident is under investigation.
Wow am apalled if this really happened? With the economy on recession, everything seems to be getting out of hand.
Just sad if this is true.
This news about this incident is just a fraction about what really happen in Chetumal, but no matter what happened between the adults the kid did not deserved to die.
Hope the coward did not hitched a ride back into Belize to hide, which is no hiding place for killers.
Sooner or later the criminals will make it hard for the Belizeans to enter Mexico again.

This is the same reason why i left Bze and do not want to go back to live, just visit. You cannot trust even the police, they are so crooked. Why in the first place, is our government allowing Guatemalans, Salvadoreans, to become nationalized. They are killing our belizeans, taking over our land and worst of all bringing AIDS to our little country. No tourist will want to go to Bze, bad for the industry.
