Third of five escaped prisoners back behind bars

Juan Menendez

Juan Menendez

At around eight this morning, forty-five year old Juan Menendez was caught by prison officials and police officers on the manhunt in the Sandhill area.  His capture confirms the Kolbe Foundation’s suspicions that he was heading north. Before Menendez, Jose Luis-Cocom was caught at his sister’s home by prison officers in Orange Walk and then Terry Bainton was cornered by police in Belize City.  Two others that flew the coop and are still on the run are thirty-five year old Dennis Quilter and twenty-two year old Jose Malgar. Authorities believe Malgar is heading west. All five prisoners will face additional charges for Escape once captured. Carlos Keme, who broke free from police on Wednesday as he headed to court, has still not been apprehended.

Why was this prisoner that broke loose not in waist, hand and leg cuffs. This is how to transport Prisoners 101 police department. Hell I would buy you some leg irons.
