Suspected drug plane traced to U.S. origins
There are some new details that our newsroom has uncovered about the suspect drug plane that was discovered south east of Northern Two Caye on Friday April ninth. Photos show the tip of one wing barely above water. Several parts of the plane were recovered including a video digital component box. The origin of the plane is still unknown. But the parts that have been recovered can help the authorities trace the manufacturer of the plane. The VDC box is linked to S-Tec Corporation of Mineral Wells Texas, which was dated in May twenty seventh, 1986. A work order sticker marked Avionics contains Federal Aviation Authority information in the U.S. that links it specifically to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During that same weekend a body was found floating in the sea and a cooler containing suspected cocaine was found drifting near the north end of Caye Caulker. It is believed that the plane attempted to make a night landing on Northern Two Caye. The authorities have recovered several solar lights that from the island’s runway. So far nothing has been revealed from the police regarding what the security guard on the island has said regarding the incident. The guard was the only person on the island.

has anyone taken the time to investigate the cost to country and tax payers for housing these prisoners for life in he out prisons,then compare to the cost of hanging,shoting and or lethal injection. I am all for hanging a person as long as the r found guilty beyound reasonable doubt.Police and prosrcuters needs better training in evidence gathering and prosecution of these crimes.Everyone should have the right to protect him or herself against a crime,security personnel should have the right to defend themselves against criminal elements justifiably and on the other hand security personnels who are found guilty of being criminals demselves should be made example of themselves publicly.Human Rights? just a big joke as far as i am conserned.I t is very expensive to come up with programs and recreational activities to try and keep these kids off the streets and i believe parents need to be held more resposible for there kids behaviour.Too many times i have seens parents assualt insult and abuse lawinforcement perssonel when they know there kids are in the wrong.Charge the parents also.HANG THESE CRIMINALS I SAY. Bring back corpral punishment ,bring back chain gangs chains shakle have them fix roads clean drains sweep streets clean public and government properties(lawns) this will reduce the costs on tax payers, make them work for the there keep in the prison system . I love Belize but not the criminal elements cevilian or public servants whether they are thugs or polititions. HANG THEM I SAY.
So why is the guard still not questioned?

send barrow to to question the guard instead of him being in Chicago still trying to fool the belizean who are up there because of them, i mean all politicians. he should sit his a.. home and try to fix all the problem there. if he cant help the belizeans home what the hell makes him feel he can go and help the ones in chicago. stay in bz they dont want no more crooks in Chicago. belizeans are there trying too work hard so that they can mantain there family here. bec the politicians and stealing all the money here instead of making jobs.
Why is the so called First Lady travelling with the Prime Minister when infact Mr Barrow have made a statement that Belize is in a recession.Stop misusing the tax Payer’s money.The amout of money that Mr Barrow is going to squander on his wife could have been used to create jobs for somebody back home.Belize wasn’t good enough for them to get married.All of a sudden it’s convenient for her to travel with the tax payer’s money.What a user.
Why do we have Air Traffic Control if they can’t know when an aircraft enter our Airspace?
