Fifteen year old alleges sexual contact with conductor in parked bus

A thirty-three year old bus conductor from Benque Viejo Town appeared before Magistrate Kathleen Lewis in Belize City today to face charges of Carnal Knowledge, an offence he allegedly committed against a fifteen year old girl. The charges, which will now go before the Supreme Court for a preliminary inquiry, stem from reports that Felipe Kotch had sex with the minor in March of this year and then again on April eighteenth. He told Magistrate Lewis that he is innocent of the accusations but she explained to him that a plea would not be taken at the arraignment and that he would be remanded to prison until May thirty-first when the P.I. is set to begin. While she could ascertain the details of the first alleged encounter with Kotch, the child claims that the incident earlier this month occurred at eight-thirty a.m. and it was on a bus parked near the Pound Yard Bridge. She was examined last week Wednesday by a doctor at the Belize Healthcare Partners, who confirmed that the minor had been sexually active and Kotch was arrested this past Monday. He has indicated that he intends to have his attorney, Lionel Welch, apply for bail on his behalf.
The carnal knowledge cases continue, and those men well deserve the time they get in jail, but that about these young girls, they out there screwing around from like 12 or 13, am sorry to say it but it is the truth, i think some kinda punishment should be looked into for them as well. just my opinion.
I don’t know what it is with bus conductors these days. They all think that they are Brad Pitt or George Clooney. They want to seduce all the girls in the bus if they left themselves to be seduced. Some of them are relentless in their pursuit of these young girls. It disgusting!! Some have a girl in each village. Girls should learn to say no.!!

I BELIEVE THAT BEFORE SENTENCE A PERSON LIKE MR. FELIPE THE CASE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED. SPECIALLY THE GIRL BECAUSE WHERE WAS THE MOTHER OF THIS CHILD? ANYWAY LETS BELIEVE THAT THE LAW OF BELIZE NOT ONLY SENTENCE OUR MEN BUT ALSO TO PROTECT THEM FROM THE NEW GENERATION THAT IS ABOUT TO BUILD UP OUR COUNTRY. LET US THINK FOR A SECOND NOT ONLY TO PERSECUTE OUR MEN OF BELIZE BUT SOMETHING MOST BE DONE TO THIS CALLED CHILDREN OF 15 YR OLD MORE OR ELSE BETTER SAY TO BE MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE LIKE A 25YR OLD MIND. ALL THIS TEENAGERS AT THIS TIME ARE MORE OPEN MINDED THAT ANY OF US OLD PEOPLE WE ARE ALL DEALING WITH THIS SITUATION. IF MR. KOTCH IS SENTENCE WELL LET US SENTENCE THE PRIESTS, TEACHERS, COMMON PEOPLE BECAUSE I AM SURE THAT MOSTLY EVERYONE HAS EXPERIENCE THIS TYPE OF ATTACK FROM FLIRT TEENAGER AND LOOKING FOR MEN AND MONEY. MEN IT IS TIME FOR ALL OF YOU TO STAND UP FOR THIS CASE!!!!!!!! WOMEN ALWAYS BEING THE VICTIMS IT IS NOT ALWAYS THE CASE. THE TRUTH IS HARD BUT IS TRUE……..
I think that if it has happened twice ,it means that the girl was enjoying it as much as the conductor.This act is unjustifiable being that the guy is old enough to know that its improper.Nonetheless the girl is not as innocent as we would like to believe.She is old enough to know that what she was doing was wrong ! so in my opinion she is just as guilty as the conductor. It would just be fair that she be punished too!

this young woman should be tambran whipped, so she learn a lesson, keep cool and keep away from these old men, I bet she is not the only one he nail in the bus.

This is not the only cause of this nature. i dont want to sound like defending the man but cleary that girl is not an inocent victim. See the charge is carnal knowledge and not rape. which means she had sex with her consent but underage. The age for consent must be seriously looked at cuase that work for the last generation of respectable people – not this set on youngsters.
From ten yrs old girls are actually looking and hunting for man in exchange for some gifts or money and sometime it is not they are in poverty. Its just the food we consume, the TV they see and the actions of thier parents. I believe there should be a charge for girls who accept to have sex underage! I strongly believe so.
I agree with LION and EF, these young girls who go about accusing males of any such act should be offered the same courtesy as the accused. The accused faces and names are always plastered all over the news media and so shall the faces and names of the supposed victims be plastered all over the news as well. To me that would be fair …if one persons reputation has to get tarnished why not both of them?. What i see happening in Belize is that women and some men have this impression that these accused men are sick and twisted and that may be true….but does anyone ever question the character of these supposed victims? No, no one ever does, they all side with the victim and feel sympathetic towards them thinking they are so taken advantage of. Oh please, these young girls know what they want and how to get it…and they aren’t as innocent to the world as most people may think. Both parties should be held accountable for their actions. If these young girls our here nowadays want to be grown ups before their time then they should be able to handle and take on the responsibilities of being an adult woman and stop behaving like little kids.

I kno this is not the only guy she is having sex with,his just came.I kno there are a lot more guys worring if their name will call.What i am saying is something have to b done about these lil or young girls going around having sex very loosely for money.What if they lie bout their age.Parents,u all got to start doing ur jobs.I’m not saying that the guy is wright but these lil girls they play the biggest part in it cause if it is not Tom or Dick it will b Harry that she would have had sex with.If a guy is drunk and looking for sex he will not kno if a girl is under age.

Felipe Kotch doesn’t have the fault as how the girl has it. she knows that its a crim that he was making and she opened her legs to him without noticing the pronlems and damage she made to him because she gave him a bad name. girls like her need to be put to a corectional institute, if not she will continue putting males behind bars and breaking their family up! girls like her are dangerous for humanity until they are eighteen years old
The laws that belize have are not good plus they think that they are doing it right! why put a person behind bars without knowing if he is guilty or not!!!! they were supposed to investigate then go with the acctions. cuz i would not know if the girl had sex with someone els and blamed him! let us find proofs and not just act like if we know everything!!!!!!!!
I think that the laws of Belize are not being applied correctly cuz the girl just went and gave her complaint and the guy was locked.Before doing that they should find out if it is true cuz most girls take advantage of the situation due that what they say is done.We are living in a world of no justice and the guys are being judge as if they are the pests or have no right to be given an opinion.I think the man is inocent because if there was a second time that means she liked it.plus you have to investigate her background am sure there is more men on her list.show her on the media so she learn to stop taking advantage of older guys cuz its her youthness she uses to seduce older mens.
