Pilot boat disappears without a trace

While customs officials are looking into the puzzling loss of cargo en route to the Commercial Free Zone another investigation is currently underway at the Port of Belize Limited where a pilot boat used to transport stevedores to cargo ships off the coast has been reported missing.  It is unclear when the boat went missing but what has been ascertained is that no employee was onboard when it was taken.  The management of the Port of Belize is tightlipped about the circumstances under which the vessel disappeared and News Five was informed that an official release by the company will be issued on Thursday.
