The annual agriculture show, harbor regatta and more with Safiyyah

The National Agriculture and Trade Show is here again and with it is a weekend full of activities.  In Orange Walk fans of theatre will be treated to a drama festival and if you are a fan of boat racing then there is also the Harbor Regatta.  Safiyyah has the Labor Day line-up of places to go and things to do.

Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is what’s happening Belize?

We all know that this weekend is not only Labour Day weekend but also that weekend of the huge annual Agricultural fair in Belmopan. There are plenty of things to see and do there. There will be lots of great deals and plenty of delicious food. And don’t forget, the Agric Show this weekend in Belmopan is a family affair.

Beside the Agriculture this weekend there are other activities you can enjoy as well. Like tonight in Orange Walk the Muffles High School will be having Miguel Street Adaptation, Drama Fest 2010. This show began at 6 but you definitely still have time to go out and enjoy it. This will be all taking place inside the Crystal Palace in Orange Walk.

Out in Belmopan tonight in Celebration with the huge fair, there will be a bash called Agric Fever inside El Rancho. This sizzling hot party will feature Cloud nine sounds and DJ Benz. So those of you heading out to Pan from Friday can check that out.

If you’re hanging out in the Belize City on Saturday then you can check out the Harbour Regatta happening in Buttonwood Bay. The races will begin at 11am. There will be all different types of races for you to enjoy. There will food and drinks out there on sale out there as well.

On Saturday night in San Ignacio you can check out the Prestige, the All white Agric show party happening inside Blue Angels. This Party will feature Platinum Sound; Stone Jam, Cloud nine, and San Ignacio’s very own Ras Sound Featuring DJ Jessie. And there will also be performances by collie Rebels from Punta Gorda.

In Corozal there will be another All white party in honor of Labour day. This Party will be taking place inside the Cactus night club. There will be Balloon drops and ladies enter at ½ Price before midnight. Music will be provided by Evolution Sounds, Dj Ben and DJ Eris.

And like I mention last week in Orange Walk Alfrain Mr. Hype will be having in his Birthday Bash inside Club Aquario. There will be plenty of giveaways including drinks, cell phones and $500 for the sexiest lady.  Music will be provided by Dynasty, Dymatics, A3, Jah Love and international DJ Console. Of course Mr. Hype will be spinning as well. So make sure you check that out!

Ever wondered how many meat pies one person could eat???? Well I put that to a test as this week’s food challenge. I set out to the streets of Belize to find someone to take on the challenge of eating 25 Dario’s Meat Pies.
