Escapee, Jose Malgar, recaptured

Twenty-two year old Jose Malgar was one of five inmates who orchestrated a prison break on the night of April twenty-seventh. But it seems Malgar didn’t go very far because on Sunday night he was caught by prison officials at a house in the Hattieville area. While Malgar is back inside a prison cell, fellow escapee, thirty-five year old Dennis Quilter, who escaped twice before last month’s break, is still on the run.  Quilter is believed to be in the Ladyville area or Belize City. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the nearest police station or the Belize Central Prison at 225-6229.
