Two Belize City fishermen missing at sea
It’s been a little over two weeks since Jamaican fishermen Anthony Hibberd and Jason Noble safely returned to their homeland after being lost at sea for over a month before being rescued near Mexico by a freighter en route to Belize. While their ordeal at sea ended miraculously one Belizean family is tonight praying for the safe return of their loved ones who are missing at sea. On Sunday morning around five o’clock, Joseph and Erleon Garbutt set out on a trip to Roatan, Honduras to purchase a boat and they were scheduled to return to Belize City by nightfall that evening. It’s been five days and there is still no word from or sight of the fishermen. The Belize National Coastguard as well as family and friends have been scouring territorial waters in search of the missing men who are residents of Zacaranda Street. Thirty-seven year old Joseph is five foot six inches in height, is of fair complexion and has a tattoo of a gun on his right arm. His brother Erleon, a twenty-seven year old coxswain for the Belize Audubon Society, is five foot seven inches, of fair complexion and also has a ‘Rest In Peace’ tattoo on the right arm. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of these men or can assist with information leading to their safe return can call the family at 203-4183.

No disrespect intended here! but were these guys really fishing for fish or narcotics ? sounds fishy…. “has a gun tattoo on his right arm”
Well they were not fishing for either fish or narcotics. If you read it clearly it says they were going to purchase a boat.!!!!!!!!!
