Two female minors are victims of human trafficking

There are two reported cases of human trafficking of minors. In the first case, a fifteen year old girl was being kept against her will in Bullet Tree Falls. According to the police in San Ignacio, the young girl was allegedly being abused and exploited at the Riverside Bar and forced to work at the residence of the owner of the bar. The minor was removed from the bar and handed over to Human Development officers. Thirty- three year Estella Pinelo was subsequently detained for the offense of trafficking in persons. In the other case, a report by another fifteen year old girl led the police to the Valley of Peace. The girl claims that on April twenty-sixth, a woman recruited her to work as a domestic at her house in Santa Elena. She claims that she was also asked to work as a prostitute at a bar. Fifty four year old Narcisa Orellano of Bradley Bank area of Santa Elena was arrested and formally charged with the crime of Attempt Human Trafficking. The girl is now in the hands of the Human Development Services.

When man or women take advantage of young girls like this, i strongly believe that these insane individuals should be forced to seek mental help.
it seem like the crimes among women are on the rise right now, I wonder if Estella Pinelo and Narcisa Orellano are from over the border as well, bet they are..
lock them up in jail, and then deport, deport.

Tip of the iceberg, and if the Human Services people actual went out and looked for these victims in the bars & clubs throughout Belize, we’d need a fleet of buses to transport them to safety!

What is this?… Very sad to see young girls being exploited. What’s more worse is that men are having sex with these teenagers. It’s insane.
