ComPol’s driver allegedly hit Tubal student
There are enough complaints about the behavior of rogue cops. Well, there is one more the Commissioner of Police, Crispin Jefferies, has to deal with. His driver is accused of attacking a fifteen year old student on May tenth. The minor is enrolled at the Tubal Training School in Ladyville, but has been on job training in the mechanic section of the Queen Street Police Station. His family is alleging off camera that the driver hit the teenager with a machete on the lower part of his body and pursued him behind a vehicle when he tried to escape. The teen’s mother, a police officer, was upset when she heard of the incident and made a formal report against the driver, requesting court action. But up to today, no charges have been brought against the driver. According to relatives of the alleged victim, the driver has promised to fix the minor’s cell phone which was damaged in the assault. But they say they are not looking for compensation for the phone, they want to press charges. So their question is, what’s taking the department so long to address their claim?
It is a good thing that the people are reporting their crimes these days, if the people continue to report their crimes at least the people will know how these awful cops are and something can be done with them.
If he had hit my child with a machete, I would have buried him, because I know he is a good cop, deep under.
happy to hear that the kids mom is a police hoping she gets the feeling how we local civilians feel when no justice by the police seems to show when a report is made like this. very good mom , feel what others are feeling or have felt.
There is “No good cop like a dead cop”. At least that is what it is starting to look like and Mr Pepper Spray he’s just covering all his officer’s @sses by holding his lame @ss press conferences. What a major waste of my hard earned tax payer’s money! Thanks to Mr P.M. even my health insurance contributions the get the cr@p taxed out of it just for lame sh1t like press conferences to explain why all Belizeans the get screwed slow and painfully.
