Mother’s Day alleged murderers behind bars

Three Belize City men including a minor and a resident of San Ignacio Town were arraigned this morning before Magistrate Rachel Montejo in San Ignacio Town on murder charges following the shooting death of Zhen Zhennong. Zhennong, a Chinese national, was murdered inside her restaurant on Mother’s Day during an armed robbery. Joint efforts between Belize City and San Ignacio Police led to the detention of Anthony Dennison, Denfield Tasher Jr., Kurt Morgan and a minor. The four men appeared in court this morning where they faced a series of charges related to the incident. News Five spoke with Assistant Commissioner of Police Paul Wade.

“On Friday last San Ignacio Police formally arrested and charged four persons in relation to the murder of the Chinese businesswoman in Santa Elena Town. Those persons are Anthony Dennison, Denfield Tasher of Belize City along with a minor, a fifteen year old minor also of Belize City. The fourth person is Kurt Morgan of Santa Elena Town.”

“These people they were apprehended in Belize City, can you speak to us on the efforts between Belize City Police and San Ignacio Police in terms of detaining and bringing them to court here?”

“There was full cooperation between San Ignacio investigators and investigators from Belize City since the beginning of this serious crime.”
The men were jointly charged with murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. During the incident Zhennong, who migrated to Belize with her family a little over a year ago, was fatally shot inside Alwin’s Restaurant. According to San Ignacio Police the fourth person implicated in the murder was charged because it is believed he led the trio from Belize City to the restaurant where they posed as customers.
are they going to be hang or only jailed? since jailing them i end up paying for their food and other service they need. we don’t need them in society anymore. they are like an infection to society arradicate them soon as possible.

What do people do with viruses when computers are invested?? WE GET RID OF THEM!!! Our systems starts to functioning PROPERLY once these pests are gone. These criminals are viruses that feed from humble people just trying to make and honest living. Its PRIME TIME to start eliminating these viruses from our society/communities one bye one, and bring back our beloved jewel.
This fourth person charged is a known criminal and the police know him. He has been in and out of jail for large robberies and its not the first time he has robbed chinese. He already knows how the system works and that is why he has no fear for the law. He will just come out and do it again. Please he is not from Santa Elena either I understand he is from San Ignacio. I hope the law deals with them accordingly because they deserve no mercy for what they did to that poor family and God knows who else.

He is hiding behind human right, but to …. WITH HUMAN RIGHTS, WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW WHO THIS PERSON IS FOR GOOD SAKE
If the judicial system can not execute these criminal, I will advocate that the public go and demand them out of prison, and we hang em. The poor ladied did nothing to deserve this. These people have evolved into monsters, and they deserve nothing but death.

You know ! How things has changed, in the ols days you didnt hear about so much crime , and you if crime was committed it would be someone from another place who had already don somehting in his place and hit the west side. I remembered my dad had a store once and you know ho many time he was roobbed and put on gun point and knife. You know how much time that was and ask if they ever did do anything never! if you would reported it and u get a quick answer ypu must be someone with money who got robbed. You I think thelaw here in Belize is week and for it to be such a small country crime is too much! Here in san Iganacio you see all kind of people u never seen before ! You a lot of crazy people going aroundwith their #$@$ showing and kids around, seeing those things. Crazy people are loose and when they committe crime or so , they let them loose becasue they call them insane . Another thing if the theif come into your home and you shot one of them who will go to jail not the thief but you who are defendign oneself so you see how the LAW is always on the bad side .
i seen ,rapist ,thief murders get less charges than those who have committed less offense .
People we should act like Guatemal and go on riot since that is what the government wants .
you kill ,u should be put off forever and if jail is too full put u on an island , i think all murders should be put away , really ! GET REAL BELIZE , ITS OUR LIFE THAT THEY ARE PLAYING WITH !
These so called minors needs to start serving time for their crime.
